Just days after it was revealed that Donald Trump’s McDonald’s order is enough to feed a family of four, it turns out the American President also loves his soda, consuming a whopping twelve cans of Diet Coca-Cola a day!
This shocking fact was revealed by White House insiders who have spilled the beans on exactly how Trump spends his day. It has been confirmed that Donald Trump’s preferred order at McDonald’s is two Big Macs, two Filet-O-Fish sandwiches, and a chocolate milkshake. That meal consists of enough calories to feed an adult man for an entire day! However, his former campaign aid added that it was okay because he never ate the buns, but it still makes for one unhealthy meal. Perhaps this is why Trump thinks drinking twelve cans of Coka every day is acceptable since his preferred brand is Diet Coke. Yet skipping the sugar in favor of artificial sweeteners still doesn’t make the beverage the most health-conscious choice. That much Coke exceeds the recommended daily caffeine dosage of by 104mgs, which could cause adverse effects like irritability, anxiety, restlessness, nervousness, insomnia, and muscle tremors – qualities that you wouldn’t want in the most powerful man in the world. Consuming that much artificial sweeter may contribute to many adverse health conditions as well. While it cannot be said if Trump is suffering from any ill effects of his Coke habit, he certainly could be. President Trump does seem to sleep very little, often tweeting in the early hours of the morning. Of course, it has been reported that Trump gets five to six hours of sleep each night because he is so busy incessantly watching television. According to research conducted by the New York Times with over 60 sources that include advisers, associates, friends, and members of Congress, Donald Trump wakes every day at 5:30 am and turns on CNN. He allegedly watches four to eight hours of television a day and has televisions set up all over the White House, which only he and his technical staff are allowed to touch. He gets a constant feed of information from watching various news sources and, most importantly, likes to see the headlines about himself. Insiders say that Trump views his daily life as a battleground against the liberal media.
“He believes passionately that the liberal left and the media are out to destroy him. The way he got here is fighting back and counterpunching,” Senator Lindsay Graham claims.
Perhaps most surprisingly, Trump’s preferred news channel is CNN, which he uses to gather actual information. However, he enjoys FOX News for comfort, and tunes into Morning Joe to get angry and fired up.
Allegedly, White House aides have become so familiar with Trump’s routines that they can tell what mood he will be in based on which news coverage he’s been watching. For example, insiders claimed that Trump had been in a good mood the day Michael Flynn admitted to lying to the FBI. It was only after constant coverage of the plea on television that Trump became agitated and started attacking Hilary Clinton in a series of tweets. The President’s mood and actions seem to be influenced by the media, despite claiming to not pay much attention to television. In November, Trump was sent a list of questions about claims made by the New York Times’ sources for fact-checking. Shortly after, he lectured the White House press pool on how little he watches television.
“People that don’t know me, they like to say I watch television – people with fake sources. You know, fake reporters, fake sources,” Trump said.
“But I don’t get to watch much television. Primarily because of documents. I’m reading documents. A lot. And different things. I actually read much more – I read you people much more than I watch television.”
During a 46-minute speech in Missouri last week about tax legislation, Donald Trump repeatedly made false claims about his tax framework, Democrats and jobs numbers among other things. In a world where anyone can say what they want, including the President, it’s hard to know what’s fake news and what isn’t. Perhaps, like in most situations, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. Some of the smartest people on the planet have believed in some crazy things. If you’ve ever been caught thinking that fake news was real, check out the video below.
